The manual exercise, commonly called the 64th exercise. : Together with plans and explanations of the method generally practis'd at reviews and field days. : (Recommended by the Provincial Congress, in October 1774, to the inhabitants of Massachusett's-Bay, that in order to their perfecting themselves in the military art they proceed in the method of the above exercise, it being in their opinion the best calculated for appearance and defence.)
