Tests on welded high strength steel plate girders subjected to shear.
In order to determine the inelastic buckling strength of pin-ended rectangular portal frames, three sets of frames with varying heights were tested. Load was applied by a lever system and metal dead weights. The test results were compared with those obtained from theoretical predictions.
