Item Description:Edited by John C. Pilkington, and Intended to accompany the two-volume duodecimo editions of Laetitia Pilkington's 'Memoirs' printed for R. Griffiths. The authenticity of this volume is questionable; although a third volume had been alluded to earlier, a notice in the third edition of vol. 2 (1751) states that the author died before completing her work and that 'the publick may be assured, no such third volume will ever be published'.--ESTC.
