David Hockney
David Hockney (s. 9. heinäkuuta 1937 Bradford, Englanti) on brittiläinen taiteilija ja valokuvaaja. Taidekoulutuksen Hockney sai Bradfordin taidecollegessa ja lontoolaisessa Royal College of Artissa, josta hän valmistui vuonna 1962. Hän asuu ja työskentelee Kaliforniassa Yhdysvalloissa. Hockneyn työt ovat usein varsin henkilökohtaisia ja omaelämäkerrallisia. Hockneyta pidetään pop-taiteilijana, vaikka hän itse kieltää olevansa pop-taiteilija. Popin lisäksi hänen töissään on ekspressionistisia elementtejä. Taidemaalauksen lisäksi Hockney on tehnyt grafiikkaa, valokuvakollaaseja ja tehnyt myös lavastuksia teattereille, esimerkiksi New Yorkin Metropolitan -oopperasaliin. Wikipedian tuottama
